[General Purpose]
・This position is responsible for managing technician resource for laboratory and overseeing technical activities that support the sales, production and new product development mainly in Japan, mainly associating with epoxy curing agents (incl. ink binder and thermoplastic resins).
・The incumbent is a technical leader for new product development in collaboration with a business lead.
・The incumbent is required to establish effective technical support to Japan market mainly in alignment with regional growth strategy such as product positioning and customer segmentation.
[Responsibilities]
1. New product/technology development and technical solutions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to identify market needs and translate them into chemistry or formulation requirements.
- Utilize internal innovation tools such as Accolade to prioritize new product development programs and communicate timelines for maximizing business impact.
2. Technical service
- Proactively maintain technical contact to the focused customers and establish credibility
