Key Duties and Responsibilities Job Summary:
o As a Senior Project Manager, the successful candidate will be a key member of team assigned to provide effective management, planning and control of new, expansion or upgrade/renewal Data Center projects in-country. The candidate will be responsible for managing assigned projects through the whole project lifecycle. They will assume overall responsibility / act in a leading capacity from project initiation to handover and project close out, delivering projects to the highest EHS standards, on time, on spec, within budget, and to the required quality and performance standard.
o The role is that of “individual contributor” with the potential to expand to line management in the future. The ideal candidate does not need prior line management experience but should have proven experience managing teams of contractors, vendors and consultants.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
o Champion the project's "zero harm" initiative and compliance to corporate and project HSE requirements.
o Represent the company in the utmost professional manner while constantly embracing honesty, integrity and transparency.
o Provide strategic input, experience and expertise to organise, set-up the project for smooth execution.
Administer consultants and contractors, maintaining strict compliance with the contract, scope of work and compliance with project specs.
o Establish and maintain overall project delivery plan, including the cost, schedule, quality and performance baseline.
o Coordinate owners' requirements and inputs to the project, including compliance with end user requirements.
o Coordinate authority, third party and stakeholder interfaces such as Project Approvals and Power Supply Connection.
o Deploy and manage internal and external project team members, driving collaboration and leading in this effort by setting a strong example.
o Develop a comprehensive understanding of the contract documents (drawings and specifications), phasing plans, discipline inter-relationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
o Monitor and follow up on each project phase of the projects (greenfield & brownfield) ensuring each discipline execute their scope of work in strict compliance to the contract documents.
o Ensure all project controls and deliverables are adhered to.
o Identify, analyse and mitigate project risks and champion project opportunities.
o Establish and maintain communication protocols across the project, including from internal departments and other stakeholders.
o Communicate and report internally on project status, including weekly and monthly project dashboards.

o Manage project budget and costs, including the change management process.
o Manage project schedule, including critical path analysis and work around planning.
o Establishment of the overall project plan.
o Manage the bid and evaluation or required project consultants and contractors, including coordinating required management approvals.
o Partner closely with internal stakeholders to assist during the RFQ process.
o Establish and gain agreement of the acceptance criteria with end user.
o Manage the delivery / transition of the projects to end users in accordance with acceptance criteria.
o Maintain project documentation.
o Ensure that lessons from each phase of the project are captured and shared internally and with the project team.
