About the Role
-You will be responsible for developing and expanding business within the Media vertical in Japan, covering broadcasters, sports rights holders, OTT / short video platforms, gaming, and e-sports companies.
-You will also build and manage a network of local partners who complement the company’s services and act as agents to support business growth in Japan.
-This role carries a sales quota, with accountability for achieving quarterly and annual targets.
Key Responsibilities
-Drive sales of media-related and core connectivity services within the Japanese media industry
-Map and build relationships with CXOs and senior decision-makers within assigned accounts and target segments
-Identify and develop new business opportunities
-Collaborate cross-functionally to design and deliver customer solutions
-Drive strategic customer engagements that translate into large opportunities
-Achieve revenue and order book targets on a quarterly and annual basis
-Ensure strong customer experience and high customer satisfaction
-Apply a consultative, solution-selling approach
-Manage large and complex deals, including negotiations and closure
-Work closely with business development, solutions, bid management, legal, and commercial teams
-Track opportunities and pipeline using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
-Monitor market trends and competitor activity and share insights with internal teams
