[Job Purpose]
Senior Engineering Manager will have a responsibility for developing new industrial process and designing new process/equipment or modifying existing one.
The role can include collecting data required on the process, overseeing the construction, calculating the engineering factor, supervising plant operation, investigating and troubleshooting plant/process problems, assessing safety and environmental issues, liaising with installation/project engineers and specialists, and ensuring safe working conditions and compliance with health and safety registration.
[Key Dimensions]
Base will be considerable on Osaka / Hino / Atsugi in Japan, but he/she will cover Japan country.
1. Develop engineering solutions to reduce operations cost, improve quality and drive sustainability targets
2. Manage Projects > 5.0 Meuro per annum, select engineering companies and suppliers that are capable and effective.
3. Manage Project Teams and Stakeholders across APAC with diverse nationalities.
4. Support the Henkel sites to enhance the process safety engineering
5. Support the Henkel sites to enhance the maintenance excellence
[Principal Accountabilities]
- Lead the process design for new process or to improve the existing process
- Support / Lead the capital project related in the maufacturing site
- Assess the manufacturing process and develop the idea
- Support the site to understand What Good Engineering Look Like
