Key Responsibilities
Accounting Management
Financial Reporting
SOX Control/Audit Management
Coordinate with Fastener division and Corporate for the regular accounting work, such as monthly/Quarterly/Annually
Partner with Japan management team, and cross functional teams to provide financial guide
Financing Controlling
Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Based on the calendar, prepare quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and medium-term plans, and conduct variance analysis against actual results.
Accounting process Improvement
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes, reporting systems, and overall department efficiency
Support internal control (SOX) for compliance & controls
Develop, implement, and monitor financial policies and internal controls to ensure compliance with US GAAP(FAS) and tax regulations
Working Capital management
Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Annually finance planning and analysis, and Cash flow forecast preparation and follow-up to support the business and improve the working capital
Tax support
Understand Japanese tax laws and provide financial data and analytical information for tax filing and tax audits.
Business Support
Risk management
Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the financial health of the business
Project management
Take a key role in various business and financial projects locally and globally
Market Knowledge
Stay updated on local financial regulations, industry trends, and compliance requirements to anticipate changes and provide proactive solutions
IT support/Other Admin
IT Support
Collaborate with contracted third-party IT vendors to facilitate smooth communication with the IT department, and work with the vendors to resolve IT-related updates and issues
