Position Overview
We are seeking a Sales Engineer to support the growth of our biometric access control, facial recognition watchlist alerting, and intelligent camera solutions across Japan.
This is a customer-facing technical role based in Japan. You will work closely with the sales team to demonstrate the value of the company’s solutions, deliver compelling technical presentations, and support proof-of-concept deployments that allow customers to evaluate the technology in their own environments.
This role is well suited for someone early in their Sales Engineering career who enjoys engaging with customers, presenting innovative technologies, and helping drive opportunities from evaluation through successful deployment.
The position involves approximately 80% pre-sales technical support and 20% post-sales engagement, ensuring customers have a smooth experience when evaluating and implementing the solutions.

Key Responsibilities
•Partner with the sales team to support the technical aspects of customer opportunities from initial discovery through evaluation and closing.
•Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical presentations that clearly communicate the value of the company’s solutions.
•Assist in designing solution architectures that integrate the company’s software platform with customer security infrastructure and systems.
•Support and help lead proof-of-concept deployments, ensuring evaluation criteria are met and customers can effectively validate the platform.
•Work closely with customers and partners to troubleshoot technical challenges during evaluations and early-stage deployments.
•Collaborate with distributors and system integrators to support technical enablement and solution positioning in the market.
•Provide feedback from customer engagements to product and engineering teams to help enhance the platform and overall solution offering.
•Travel 30–50% within Japan and the region to support customer meetings, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept deployments.
