[Purpose]
To manage various customers in Japan and South Korea, aligned to the marketing and sales strategy of Sasol Technical Formulation (TF) - international chemicals.
[Responsibilities]
• Collaborate with the Senior Sales Manager, TF, to plan, target, and execute sales strategies across key customer accounts.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with customers, distributors, and agents.
• Establish and manage Agency/Distribution Agreements between agents/distributors and the relevant Sasol production assets.
• Monitor the business environment, gather and analyse market intelligence, and report insights to the Senior Sales Manager M&S TF to support strategy adjustments in line with market needs.
• Identify, develop, and implement sales and marketing plans to drive business growth.
• Conduct monthly import/export data analysis and provide reports to the Senior Manager TF Sales and the Business Unit.
• Quantify the value of Product & Services offering to offset cost/benefits pressure.
• Lead and support projects that address specific business objectives or market requirements.
• Prepare call reports following customer visits.
• Prepare periodic (monthly, quarterly) reports on sales performance and relevant market developments.
• Develop annual budget proposals and execution plans for assigned customers.
• Ensure compliance with sales contractual requirements and relevant legislation.
• Update sales volume forecasts of each customer into the system.
• Creation and setup of new customer in CRM system and due diligence processes.
• Handle sample requests in the CRM system in response to customer needs.
• Utilize the P2PR tool to analyze profitability of each business.
• Implement credit facility / payment term and liaise with credit management/finance team to secure credit limit from credit insurance provider.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (logistics, supply chain, finance, and customer service) to resolve sales-related issues and maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain proactive customer communication regarding order status, delivery schedules, and related matters.
• Lead sales, delivery, and stock planning activities including execution with support from Customer Service Representatives.
• Support debt collection efforts and maintain overall accountability for customer payment performance.
• Complete all required internal online training to meet Sasol’s compliance standards.
