This position is responsible for providing a broad spectrum of strategic HR expertise and business leadership solutions for the North Asia (Japan and South Korea) Organization focusing on HR business partnership and strategic support to the North Asia Team. The role will drive the HR elements of the business strategy by planning and implementing key HR programs and initiatives that increase productivity, capability and employee effectiveness and engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Trusted strategic partnership with key senior leadership to define and execute business strategies and solutions, especially those related to HR and Capability that enable alignment and growth.
•Lead and/or facilitate all employee engagement programs, support leadership team in engaging their respective teams that would improve employee engagement score as measured through internal and external survey with the objective of making SCJ Japan listed as Great Place to Work in Japan
•Partner with the North Asia leadership Team to maximize organization effectiveness; leverage expertise in organization design, change management, employee development, workforce planning and change management to ensure optimization of employee skills and potential.
•Develop in-depth strategic and operational business knowledge to build strong partnerships with senior leadership team.
•Ensure alignment of all HR-related business processes focused on meeting strategic and operating goals through positive employee relations, recruitment, onboarding and retention activities.
•Deep understanding of business strategies and initiatives to partner with senior leaders to develop HR plans that support said strategy and initiatives
•Lead the talent management and succession planning processes for North Asia cluster; partner with the HR Centers of Excellence to implement processes that enable the right development and movement of talent.
•Lead the annual HR processes including merit review, PMP, etc.
•Drive and assess the effectiveness of performance management and goal setting, including professional and leadership development initiatives.
