■Job Objective:
Manage employees and business in the most professional manner
and achieve the branch budget targets
■Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
• Responsible for the result (Profit & Loss) of the branch and territory assigned
• Manage the employees and monitor the staff performance
• Overlook the branch departments and ensure business runs smoothly
• Accountable for continues improvements in CS/OPS and commercial development
• Control branch expenses and local transactions
• Create annual business plan and budget for assigned branch and present it to MD
• As part of Japan Management, support creation of Japan business plan and budget
• Regularly connect and engage with customers to maintain and grow relationships
• Perform sales activities to acquire new customers and develop additional business
• Focus on growing profitable business for the branch and country organization
• Collaborate closely with other departments and country head office
• Communicate actively within GW global network to maintain and develop business
• Keep strong ties with partners, meet regularly with carriers and subcontractors
• Involve and drive procurement activities to optimize the profit margin
• Conduct review meetings with staff to discuss performance, issues, and career
• Take lead in training and coaching of employees, development of young people
• Ensure employees are being updated with latest information and regulations
• Comply with local rules and head office regulations at any time
• Represent branch, country and company in internal/external meetings and events
• Maintain an active social role within the company and encourage communication
• Act as a role model for others
